We Score a Hat Trick!
Guerilla has just secured its third social marketing smoking cessation
campaign in six months following a pitch against a London Agency.
Guerilla
will be working with Newham Primary Care Trust throughout 2008 to
reduce smoking prevalence across the Borough, specifically targeting
White British, Eastern European and Bangladeshi smokers.
Liz
Hughes, Stop Smoking Programme Manager for the Trust, said: "We chose
Guerilla because we feel their proposal fully matched our needs. We
are looking forward to working with them and are very excited about the
outcomes of the social marketing campaign."
Newham PCT has
extremely challenging Department of Health targets for four-week
quitters, which must be achieved. Guerilla will propose a campaign
strategy based on evidence from market research conducted over the next
two months by Newcastle based market research company Marketwise
Strategies.
